About Author

Nour Al-Huda, holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, graduated in 2014, has a passion for reading and writing, especially for children. She began her writing career in 2018, initially publishing educational series with various Egyptian publishing houses. She later ventured into independent writing, from her works works "Baloura" and "Mam" with Dar Alalia, "Childhood Imagination" and "Division Result" with Dar Wow, alongside several texts with the Asafeer app and other publishers. Her debut novel for young adults will be released by "Raheeq Al Kotob" in 2022. She also contributes regularly to Nour Al-Sagheer magazine.

About Illlustrator

Sohila Khaled, an Egyptian children’s book illustrator. She illustrated many books for many Arabic publishers. Her work was exhibited in many international and regional exhibitions. The Egyptian countryside, nature and her cat are her main source of inspiration. She was a Diploma winner at The Image Of The Book contest 2022 and 2024 in Moscow. Also, her book “Akh Akh!” was nominated for many prizes such as The Etisalat Award for Children’s Literature 2021 shortlisted for best picture book category and longlisted at Ananas International Illustration Exhibition 2022 in Beijing. She works from her own studio, filled with books, plants and a lot of tea.
